On the hour of 10.00 am, Wednesday 2nd April 2008, the members of the branch poured out of the office and crossed the road to a meeting at the Future Inn.

The Branch Officers addressed the packed meeting and thanked everyone for the support of the union and urged them to continue with the work to rule, when they returned to the office.

Following managements draconian arrangements, everyone then lined up outside the office and prepared for a triumphant return to work.

Then on the hour we all returned, but first we had to queue up and wait, whilst highly paid senior HR staff signed us all back in.
